We know that schools are essential to communities and that many families depend on them not only for their students’ education, but also for meals and other support. Many districts are working on their own meal solutions for their student families. If you need meal assistance during this challenging time, be sure to check communications from your school and district, call 211, and visit the link below to find pantries and food assistance across the state.
AGE+ was created to champion a new vision for successful and equitable aging for all Oregonians by empowering communities, linking generations and stimulating innovation to make longer life an opportunity, not a burden, especially for isolated and underserved older adults in rural areas. We grew from our companion organization, the Jessie F. Richardson Foundation’s, desire to expand and focus on programming in Oregon, particularly in rural and suburban areas where most older adults live.
