The Multnomah County Library offers free, live virtual story times multiple times a week–available and accessible no matter where you live! These live, online story times open up the world of books, music, culture, and play to babies, toddlers, families and young children. Story times are available in multiple languages (Chinese, Spanish, Russian, and Vietnamese), plus they offer Black story time, Native story time, sensory story time and more!  Go to Storytimes | Multnomah County Library (multcolib.org)

Additionally, on the first Monday of each month, join Kids’ Storytime with Katharine Phelps. This story time is organized by the Youth Empowerment Program and is sponsored by Respond to Racism Lake Oswego. The picture books they read highlight individuals and events that changed history and opened doors, explore social constructs and stereotypes, stretch imaginations, inspire to cultivate gifts and talents, and help to begin to construct unique identities that transcend boundaries.
